Cagbalete Island
Remote island with cream, rippled-sand beaches in Mauban, Quezon
We’ve been planning to go to this island months ago together with Paul’s family but because of typhoons and other unforeseen circumstances, the plan remained a plan. It was 1:00AM of January 30 when Paul and I decided to go to Cagbalete. I was bored and we’re not actually doing anything; and Mitch was on her trip to Singapore. “Do you wanna go to Cagbalete?” I said. And Paul said, “Now? As in right now?” “Yeah. Go. Let’s pack,” I replied.
We knew that we have to be at the bus station by 3:00AM but since we’re really not ready and our stuff were all over the place, it took us a lot of time to prepare. Eventually, we arrived at

Sta. Rosa, Laguna - Enchanted Kingdom Theme Park
One of my SPUM classes invited me for an Enchanted Kingdom theme park experience last October 23, 2009. Although I have been to the park for like a number of times already, I still joined the group for some unwinding. What’s new with EK? When we went there, Space Shuttle was closed and that made us a little disappointed. However, there’s this new “horror house” thing (not really sure if it’s really that new; this is the first time I saw and experienced it) they call SRR:X! that really rocks. For non-first timers, Enchanted Kingdom is getting boring; you have less and less rides to choose from and the old rides are not that exciting anymore. Most of the time, the Space Shuttle is closed and the Condor ride is just a piece of scrap metal; and if you want to do Go-Cart, “horror-house”, paintball, 4D theater and ATV, you have to pay extra.
All in all, my EK experience was

Calaguas Islands
Remote islands with white-sand beaches in Vinzons, Camarines Norte
So far, nothing compares to the Calaguas Islands experience I just had last April 26 to May 2. It was supposed to be just a two-night camp on the islands which became a five-night-stranded-in-typhoon story.
We’ve been planning for months to go to this remote island in Camarines Norte. Google it out and you’ll find tons of breathtaking, virgin-beach photos of Mahabang Buhangin.
This is our story, Paul’s birthday story.

Coron, Palawan
Coron Island Hopping, Mt. Tapyas Climb, Snorkelling in Siete Pecados, Coral Gardens and in WWII Gunboat, Safari Adventure in Calauit Island and swimming in Twin Lagoon, Kayangan / Cayangan Lake, Colomboyan Island, Concepcion Waterfalls, and Makinit / Maquinit Hot Springs.
Part 3 of 3: This is a continuation of my Coron, Palawan - Day 1 (Part 1 of 3) and Coron, Palawan - Day 2 (Part 2 of 3) posts.
Coron, Palawan - Day 3 | Calauit Island Safari Adventure, Concepcion Falls, Cashew Factory
In day 3 of our Coron, Palawan trip, we experienced the safari adventure in Calauit Island, Busuanga. We woke up early because we were excited to see grazing zebras and we can’t wait to experience feeding giraffes. Coron Village Lodge also told us to wake up early for the animals are only there during mornings and they tend to go back to the forest in the afternoon.
After drinking coffee, we started our 3-hour trip to Calauit. Since it’s just around 4 in the morning, we’re all

Coron, Palawan
Coron Island Hopping, Mt. Tapyas Cimb, Snorkelling in Siete Pecados, Coral Gardens and in WWII Gunboat, Safari Adventure in Calauit Island and swimming in Twin Lagoon, Kayangan / Cayangan Lake, Colomboyan Island, Concepcion Waterfalls, and Makinit / Maquinit Hot Springs.
Part 2 of 3: This is a continuation of my Coron, Palawan - Day 1 (Part 1 of 3) post. Also Coron, Palawan - Day 3 (Part 3 of 3) is already posted.
Coron, Palawan - Day 2 | WWII Gunboat, Colomboyan Island, Coral Gardens
In day two of our Coron trip, we get to experience more of the Coron islands. But before we headed the islands, we woke up early to witness the beautiful Coron sunrise. Although it was a not-so-easy 718-step stair climb on Mt. Tapyas, it was all worth every sweat drop. We reached the top just in time, giving us the opportunity to witness every second of the Coron sunrise.
I don’t know what happened but the thing I hated the most about this part was that I forgot to change the white balance of my camera. But even though we had bluish pictures, it wasn’t that difficult to convince myself that we have great pictures and besides, the
