Sta. Rosa, Laguna - Enchanted Kingdom Theme Park

One of my SPUM classes invited me for an Enchanted Kingdom theme park experience last October 23, 2009. Although I have been to the park for like a number of times already, I still joined the group for some unwinding. What’s new with EK? When we went there, Space Shuttle was closed and that made us a little disappointed. However, there’s this new “horror house” thing (not really sure if it’s really that new; this is the first time I saw and experienced it) they call SRR:X! that really rocks. For non-first timers, Enchanted Kingdom is getting boring; you have less and less rides to choose from and the old rides are not that exciting anymore. Most of the time, the Space Shuttle is closed and the Condor ride is just a piece of scrap metal; and if you want to do Go-Cart, “horror-house”, paintball, 4D theater and ATV, you have to pay extra.

All in all, my EK experience was still a blast. Maybe it’s because of the group I am with.

How to go to Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
1. Take a CAB/JEEPNEY/LRT going to Buendia/Gil Puyat station.
2. Look for the JAM bus line terminal and take a BUS going to Balibago. Ask the bus assistant to drop you at Walter Mart in Sta. Rosa.
3. Take a TRICYCLE from Walter Mart to Enchanted Kingdom.

Where to Eat in Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
The park itself offers a wide-array for food to choose from. Popular fast food restaurants like Pizza Hut, Ice Monster, Dimsum N’ Dumplings, Potato Corner, Dunkin Donuts, Karate Kid and Hotshots can be found inside the park. However, if you are in a tight budget (imagine tickets for the entire family, arg!) you may bring packed food and just eat at the parking lot or take a tricycle to the Walter Mart area for more cheaper options.
